Fellow DEC Members! The VAN (Voter Activation Network, more familiarly known as the VoteBuilder database) is a computer based system that places voter data at the fingertips of Precinct Captains and block workers. The VAN system is used for: Get Out The Vote (GOTV) activities in your precincts  Contacting Democratic Super Voters (voters who vote all the time) to build your volunteer team Contact & re-sign up prior and new Vote-By-Mail voters (RE-UP Project) Whether you are a computer guru or a novice, knowledge of how the VAN operates is helpful in your precinct work.  The VAN allows you to: Get the information you need directly from the VAN database, using your personal computer Be able to ask the right questions of VAN gurus to get you the information you need The VAN Training is held in three locations:  North County: By appointment only. The trainings for West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Jupiter will be held at mutually convenient places, times, and days.
